The 1980s! Depending on who you ask, it means childhood, or a weird gap between classic rock and grunge, or possibly the decade where everyone lost their goddamn minds when it came to fashion. Even if everyone associates it with wacky New Wave synths and crazy hairstyles, the ’80s provided us with a wide breadth of music, and we sample a lot of it this week. Fire up your cassette player and jam to our kickin’ tunes!

See you next Friday!

  1. I noticed the drum chart for Baby Jane missing a lot of hi-hats, is it like that in the final version as well?

    • “Note: Videos may contain authoring issues that have been fixed, and are for preview purposes only.”

Please play the song in game before posting a bug report, as it is likely it has already been fixed since the video was recorded. If, after playing the song in game, you spot a problem, please use our Bug Tracker to report it.

      Thank you.

      • I merely asked as I won’t be able to play it myself in a long while on drums and I didn’t see any playtesting logs on any drum fixes

        • That still ignores the instructions given.
If you can’t play it for a while, don’t report a bug, and when you do, do it on the Bug Tracker. The question of “is X from the video fixed?” has two answers: Yes – which you should assume and not ask, as the instructions say the video is a work in progress representation of the songs, and No – which you’re going to want a fix to the bug then and this is not the place for you and the author to communicate about the bug, hence the Bug Tracker should be used.
I understand your intentions, just pointing out that there is a system, and the best way to make sure a system works, is to use it.
As a long-time C3 author, it also begs the question of why you’re choosing to post on the blog and not communicate with the author privately.

          • I left the Skype group for reasons I wish not to discuss, point is I was merely asking without knowing to know if it was a good idea to put it on my Xbox right away or to wait for any potential fixes, and I thought it was better to just ask instead of sending in bug reports on a bug I don’t know if it’s fixed or not. It wasn’t a bug report at all, it was a question.

            • You can still contact authors privately without needing to have them on Skype. That’s what private messages in our forums are for. And guess what? I’ll continue this conversation with you there.

  2. 13 totally awesome tracks from the ’80s! I’m gonna put on my over-sized t-shirt and leggings, put my hair up in a ponytail to the side, and rock this out!
