Who are you?
I’m farottone, I’ve been playing instrument based rhythm games probably since Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania. My main instrument is drums, but my wife sings and I love songs with great vocals and harmonies.
Why are you doing this?

Shockingly enough, I do my customs for me and my wife first. 🙂 Doing a custom song requires such an amount of work and patience that, in my mind, you really need to love the songs you work on. However, there’s a huge amount of stuff I do on every song that’s just for the people who will eventually download and play the songs: lower difficulties, guitar/bass/keys in songs I know I’ll never play with friends, etc. So, if you appreciate the songs, make sure to let me know: as all authors do, I love support from the people playing my songs. 🙂
What kind of songs should we expect from you?
I do A LOT of songs from FEW bands. I love rock, pop, blues, classic metal and I tend to work on full albums and packs. Expect songs that are fun for all players involved on any instrument.
Do you collaborate with other authors for your or their songs?
Animations for all of my songs are done by TrojanNemo, who always does a wonderful job.

this IS awesome! THANK YOU! (and yes, it will be copied and pasted to each of you, cause i’m lazy) I new about customs since PS2, but this is the first time i’ve seen it made so simple and polished. just being able to play all the tracks i’ve paid for over the years on one game is just a no-brainer. TY again.

Thanks to all you guys for doing this – it is crucial to keeping Rock Band alive and well. And thanks to you specifically for doing so many Rush tracks! That being said, I just wanted to note something about the bass charts in a good number of your Rush charts. I have noticed they are a bit undercharted…just missing some of the slides and little intricacies of Lee’s playing. I noticed this in songs like Xanadu, Time Stand Still, and High Water. Just thought I’d let you know as constructive criticism, so please don’t take this the wrong way as it in no way impacts my thankfulness for what you and the others are doing here! Thanks again!
Hey, Espher referred me to you from Reddit. I only recently heard of customs thanks to DLC ending. I asked him if I could submit Clockwork Angels when I finished charting it, s/he recommended I talk to you about collaborating. Right now I’m working on The Anarchist. While I may not have much customs experience I’ve been playing rhythm games since GH1, real drums since RB1.
Maybe we can work together on bringing more Rush songs to Rock Band? I wouldn’t want to spend my time making a custom only to find out you’ve been working on it.
Any progress with Clockwork Angels?
Sorry it took so long to reply. I did post a first build of The Anarchist over the summer which had expert drums, guitar and vocals charted (I don’t think overdrive was charted for any of them). Then life happened and I had to abandon the project. I would like to return to it, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen any time soon.

Sunglasses at night- Corey Hart, Liar- Rollings Band, Harlem- New Politics, and any Faith No More ( or just every Mike Patton song ever). Love the INXS too. They’re a fun band to play. Is the C3 all done with Custom Rockband 3 Collections, I’ve tried to look up the C3 website but it comes up blank for the last 30 days……. If so then Thank You for all you Authors that created great custom songs for our enjoyment, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!
